Neil Desai Charity Squash Day
28 Oct 2010

The Neil Desai Charity Squash Day takes place at St George's Hill Lawn Tennis Club, Warreners Lane, Weybridge, KT13 0LL from 1pm - 5.30 pm on Sunday 21st November 2010. There will be junior clinics from 1pm with several top pros followed by exhibition matches and "Special Squash Challenges" at 4pm involving several of the region's star players. Anyone that is interested in taking part in the clinics should contact me ( Danny Lee) on 07905 102094 or on this e mail address. Children of all ages and standards are welcome. I will fit them in to a suitable session. Squash players of all ages that want to pledge money to the charity in return for games with World Ranked Professionals should also contact me. Tickets for the exhibition on the club's brand new All Glass Court are £5 payable on the day. Those who wish to attend the exhibition should arrive by 3.45pm. All proceeds will go to the Neil Desai Foundation which amongst other worthy causes supports CRY (cardiac risk in the young) offering free testing to young sportsmen and creating awareness to prevent fatalities. For those of you who didn't know him Neil Desai was a tremendously talented County squash player who tragically died on his 22nd birthday two years ago. He was also a very popular person with an infectious enthusiasm for life. He always put in 100% and was a fine ambassador for his sport. I would be most grateful if you could forward this e mail to your squash contacts. Let's pack St George's Hill out in memory of Neil and raise a significant amount of money for the charity dedicated to his name.
