| Report: | 2nd mtch of the season and our 1st win! I think we will have to fight for every point this season. So picking up 14 in this match was a bonus. SGH2 arrived a little short on 1 or 2 of their big players-but still pushed us all the way. CRAB at 3 got us off to a great start by keeping DANTHEMAN quiet-3-0. While GREYFOX at 4 struggled to stem the speed and power of MIKETOLSON-lost 1-3. The GLOVE at 1 put us back in the lead with another display of guile and skill against youthful vigour(TESTOSTORONE!)STUARTHADDEN is a good young player(17!)but he seem to have only 2 ways of hitting the ball-hard n HARDER!A bit more thought to go with his obvious physical abilities and he could be dangerous!!3-1 GLOVE. Next we had the unusual(maybe the 1st!)situation of father and son(13yrs)-2 and 5- competing against us. Dad won 3-0, son lost 3-0. Match to colets3 3-2.Valuable points guys well done-good luck SGH2 for the coming season. |
