| Report: | Well the plan was for a 3-2 sneak win but it did'nt happen! Purley1 the 2nd div top team had the edge at the top order with WILDE n OLBY stone wall certs at 1 n 2. Punching above our weight,Colets3 was looking to pickup the 3rd 4th n 5th rubbers. The plan worked until the 4th rubbers played. Purley1 PARISH played superb squash to negate the speed and grit of MACHINE(Davis) taking his team to a 3-2 win. Colets3 needed a win to keep in the hunt for an unlikely promo push. But watch this space-things can change rapidly. As I stated Colets3 are the only 3rd team mixing it with the big boys in div2-so lets keep pushing for the elder folks. All top 4 teams will play each other in the final 3 matches so points will be crucial! Well played Purley1. |
