| Report: | Colets2 looking for our 1st win was pipped at the end. Yet looking at the table we are 4th from bottom and have'nt won!!New Malden 1 of the pace setters turned up short of 1 regular and oroceeded to dominate the mtch by wrapping up the 1st two rubbers 3-0! TATTOO at 4 quickly put us back on track by playing solid sqsh to record a 3-0 win. So LEGS at 3 had to win but win 3-0 for the mtch to be decided on points countback. LEGS did what he does best by playing textbook mtch play to go 2-0 up. Then the wheels came off slightly. His young fit/fast/fancy opponent started to work LEGS all over the court and squeeze the game to 9. LEGS knew he had to win the nxt or he would be in serious trouble. He duly dilivered, but we went down fighting. We need a win!! |
