| Report: | A fine end of season match with the pick of the games at 4th string where Nick saved 4 match balls, in the third (with the help of some dodgy home marking), to take it to the wire. However just as Tim put his foot back down on the pedal, Nick ran out of gas in the 5th. There were some ridiculous rallies at 2nd string, between the two posers, one posing as a walrus and the other as a squash player. Neither impressions were carried off with any acting ability at all. While at 3rd string, Gary managed to steal the first set from Geoff the cops are after him for daylight (or nightime) robbery. He doesn't move fast so shouldn't be a problem to catch him. The matches at 1 and 5 were rather quick, as the home team were anxious to get to the bar before the walrus ate all the food!! A good spirited game to finish off the season - thanks Colets |
