Report: | Greg Talbot made an appearance at 5 for Grafton and my goodness what an appearance it was. One red sock one blue sock, shoes that showed the faded colours of both his big toes, poking through somewhat overly worn leather and shorts which might just have been picked up in the home changing room while the real owner was still showering. Looks can definitely deceive. Despite his kit, he can obviously play. Unfortunately Mark had to pull up because of a calf problem and Richard was well on the way to a fine 3-0 but one can only assume he had a mental block out as physically he looked fine. That then left Rob to go on court against a fat, old, gammy legged, deaf git, but as stated above - appearances can be deceptive! While some of the matches were over quickly, nevertheless it was an enjoyable evening all round.
We look forward to the return against a decent bunch of chaps, when hopefully Ray will contribute more than just turning up late and doing sod all when he got there.
