Report: | A good match against a decent buch of chaps. First up was Gary v James and James surprised us all by wearing shorts that were even older than him. Like watching a football match from the early 70's. Obviously too short and tight, unlike his game which was too long and loose. Ray was defeated by Graham who was but a fast moving blur on the radar to Ray's old eyes. A stealth bomber was easier to detect than this whirling dervish. Mike had another 3-0 but unusually for him, for once it was in his favour, while Chris again managed a whole match without ever playing a backhand. His forehands are pretty naff as well. That left the No1's but it was clear that Ian was used to playing proper squash players, not fat old men who play tennis and badminton on the wrong sized court. A good evening all round and after the buffet, some of the players are getting even rounder as this is written. |
