| Report: | A rather quick match this week with all 8 players in the bar by 9.00pm The Big Woose, fresh from a 10 - 8 in the 5th epic the previous day, managed to ease his aching limbs (and his rather impressive girth) through against Andy, while on court 1, Eric showed Ken his vast array of shots never knowingly seen in a coaching manual. Kim's advice to his team mate inbetween games was to just concede and have a beer. The Hippo got off to a rather ponderous start, as one would expect of such a heavy beast. However, after losing the first game he heaved himself out of his mud bath, and bellowed mightily at Andy, his much younger and fitter opponent. Andy obviously frightened by such a pair of tusks then meekly conceded in 4. Gary for once forsook his knee supports. Bad decision, as he went down in straight sets to Kim, and then most ungraciously tried to blame his loss on his supporting daughter. Tut tut, tut. A good evenings squash and we look forward to the return |
