Report: | Another good social night with the drinkers of Horley, to start off the second half. First up were Gary and Steve, and then five minutes later they were in the bar. not much to say on this match cause I blinked and missed it. Meanwhile on court 1, Rob was running all Mark's shots down, until totally exhausted, Mark started to put them down himself without any help from Rob. Dan hitting some lovely shots (in the tin) flattered to deceive at 2 against a chess player rather than a squash player. As befits a chess player, Eric did not expend too much energy hitting little drops to the nick. So game on, for the posing peacocks at number 1. Two Teas well and truly lost his pose being mullered in the first game, but managed to sneak the second and make a game of it. At 2-2 we fully expected the younger fitter man to come through, but all that excess blubber, must have given Terry the energy he needed and he came through in the fifth. A good night all round. |
