| Report: | On the hottest day of the year, and with an on-court temperature over 34 degrees, it was not surprising that the target for most was the club bar. With Rob and Mark losing comprehensibly to Shane and Simon, in an unembarrassing attempt to get to the refreshment tent early, the match outcome rested on the 3rd and 4th string games. The youthful and nippy Ryan eventually losing out to Justin, (clearly not fully recovered yet from his Tourettes Management Course) 10-9 in the fifth. Excellent sport chaps!. Meanwhile Nick and Rob fought out a crazy match (not for the purists, it has to be admitted), but nevertheless entertaining and never had the gallery seen such a spectacular display of ball-striking from Rob. One day soon, he will no doubt learn to use the strings too!
