| Report: | Purley got off to a good start - Paul T. gaining 3 points to allow us to take the league on points, with a match in hand. Well played Marc, you showed potential and character against a strong opponent. Jon & Mark had a 5 set thriller with Jon saving match point in the 4th to go on to a conclusinve win in the fifth. Justin & Nick had a nice game, Nick threatened a comeback but was unable to capitlise in the end (too much fun in the sun in Spain). Ryan gained a strong win against our #1 Shane to make it 3-1 to Purley. An enjoyable meet. Glad to see you are safe in the league Warlingham - well deserved. |
