| Report: | Great match and just wish it had been exam week and we might of had a chance! Jay finally found his form after losing the first and getting used to his ultra light basketball shoes, with a good match albeit mostly at the back of the court. Too hot for drops apparently! Kelsey battled it out with Jason (The helicopter)showing that a good touch outweighs fitness to win in 5. Jack fresh from the tennis scene had a good start but Ben was carrying a little less baggage, not old enough to have discovered drink and kebabs yet, and breezed through the last 3 games to win 3-1. The highlight of the evening was the Nick (the silver fox) against the up and coming junior Seigo, sporting a welders mask consealing all emotions. A fantastic exhibition of squash, Nick wishing he was 20 years younger as Seigo's retrieval was exemplary. Nick found his form in the 3rd with some very tight squash really testing the youngster. Nick was threatening to make it 2-2 but ran out of spare legs. Great match guys. |
