Really only got into any rhythm in the 3rd game and was just not there tonight. Even managed to serve out at 8-8 game point up, could that have made a difference?
Richard S3 – vs. Steve went down 1-9, 1-9, 6-9
Again just didn’t seem to play his normal game although must admit I didn’t watch the whole game.
Simon S4 vs. John also went down 7-9, 4-9, 4-9
Very enjoyable game to play, John was an old school player with manners, makes a difference! Managed to get him to take the tracksuit top off after the 2nd game and started hitting good lengths and some great long rallies but John was just too strong.
Olu S5 vs. Doug went down with a fight, 4-9, 4-9, 6-9
Although a little unfit, Olu still played out and put out a good fight across the 3 games.
Amit S7 vs. Kev strategically placed below Olu to see if we could get a few points….got beaten badly! 1-9, 4-9, 2-9
