| Report: | Thanks to Kings for a good nights squash and some good social banter afterwards. The difference on the night was that Ashtead had no injuries and good availability whilst Kings were suffering from some injuries to key players but we appreciate you guys getting a team together and making a match of it. Way too many teams would not have gone to that effort so thank you guys. We thought the key match was going to be at #1 string judging by past performance of both players who have decent records in the division but Tom was on his game and he set the tone for the night with a good display. It was then up to the rest of us to see if we could match it. Whilst we couldn't meet his high standars (Dave at #4 the exception), we still put in one of our better team displays and a much needed 19 points sees our good 2nd half of the season continue.
Good luck to Kings for the rest of the season and hope they get their key players back sooner rather than later. |
