| Report: | After my last experience at Spencer's, I was only to happy to see them arrive with 3 players, and to avoid further humiliation (if he does that...). Only joking, it was unfortunate that Spencer could only muster 3 players for the evening, but that didn't stop some excellent squash. Ollie and Chris went into battle first with some great rallies from the start, both young and fit meant it boiled down to who was better on the day. Meanwhile, playing on the other court were Ryan and Dan. I thought it was never going to end, I was tired out just watching them. Ryan pulled out some amazing recovery shots as Dan pushed him from one corner to another, but Ryan's legs didn't wear out, oh to be young! Dave and Iain then went on. Dave started off in his usual very casual style losing 9-0. Then something happened, (I think he spied the beers on the balcony) his little drop shots and wrist control got him to the bar in 3! An enjoyable evening was had and we are looking forward to the return, hopefully with a full team. |
