| Report: | A good return match especially so early after the Xmas break. We were out for revenge as we so nearly won the first leg. I'd like to take the opportunity to welcome John to our team. He played well against Angus considering it was his first match for 3 years. Unfortunately I didn't see any of Robs game as Tim and myself were engaged in a 80 min battle, me out for revenge, after losing before despite having match point in the 3rd.
Didn't quite go to plan as I was soon 2 love down. Dug deep and pulled it back to 2-2. Then my secret weapon kicked in, Tim's in-laws! They were still here filling Tim with more Xmas cheer, while I'd got a few games under my belt. I'm looking forward to our next match. Keith maintained his usual good standard of squash having only lost 2 matches all season.
All finished with an enjoyable evening in the bar. |
