| Report: | It's easy to see why this Wimbledon team has dominated the division this season. They are young, fit and well disciplined. The Colets team has a wide age profile and this provides guile and experience but on the day fitness was the key. Shayne fought well to get to match point against Ally, but in a thrilling see-saw match, Ally came through with a gutsy fight back to take it 3/2. Billy started well but couldn't match Daves speed around the court and fantastic overhead kills. James and Richard put a dunlop ball through a rigorous durability test with some fine hitting, but Richard's cunning boast proved too much. Will gained a win over James to secure his 100% record for the season and Geoff ran out of trick shots as his demanding sporting lifestyle took its tole againt Tim who ran everything down. Well done to Wimbledon, a good win showing the value of strength in depth. |
