| Report: | A fine start to the campaign for Warlingham with Nick on first with his white stick,and ever eager to get the bar he didn't trouble the opposition nor the marker but he sure did trouble the roof and the tin. Somewhere in between next week pls Nick. Dave at 4th string being a late replacement tried hard dug in and got stuck in the hole. When in hole - stop digging Dave. Terry rather confused Jamie with his low centre of gravity - and rackets that were older than him. Perhaps one day he will get a pair of shorts that fit too. The gel boys at 1 went on last and in a very tight game John edged through in the 5th. This was mainly due to his more aerodynamic shape i.e he has no hair which lessens any wind resistance.
All in all a fair result. |
