| Report: | After beating Colets in the first half, Warlingham brought their strongest team to try to achieve the double on a hot sticky night in Thames Ditton. Eric grabbed a win against Ally in the dying seconds of the fifth game thanks to his unique brand of matchplay squash and some deadly drop shots from all over the court. Ally ran everything down and tried her heart out to make it an exciting and entertaining match. Geoff made his debut for the team to fill in for holidaying players and produced a fine win agaist Nick. Billy came from 2 down against the tricky and dogged Paul to win in 5 and Madgie produced his best squash against John to complete the match late into the night. As always a very friendly and enjoyable encounter. |
