| Report: | Grafton arrived with high hopes of improving their chance of promotion. Fat Chance. Against an extremely weakened Warlingham woefuls team having to rely on the dregs of the 4th team to make up the numbers, if it were not for John playing at 1, we would have all been in the bar by 9.00pm. However John doesn't drink so he did his utmost to prevent the rest of us from doing so. Whit a wee bampot - he will undoubtedly be dropped for future matches. He did however exact revenge over his first half loss against Jonathan, and although he dumped some easy balls at match point(s) up in the 4th he came back to dump similar balls in the 5th before going on to win. He has got a half decent write up, cause there was nothing much to say about the other games. I blinked and they were over! Good evening though, with at least one Jock in the Grafton team, and another that went to Uni in Stirling - almost home from home. |
