| Report: | Thx to Esporta boys for a great nights squash. It is always when the result hangs in the balance until the very death and this match proved exactly that with the #3's fighting it out for the team victory where Jim did the home team proud by fighting back from 0-2 down to level at 2-2 and then at 4-8 in the 5th it looked like a step too far but again he dug deep and clawed it back to 8-8 from where some remarkable rallies ensued including both players serving out at match ball with the tension growing on the balcony. Eventually Jim closed the deal and with it went the spoils (luckily) to Ashtead. |
