Report: | Another pleasant evening against Limpsfield - I'm talking about the weather. Francis, who was more interested in watching the cricket, was definitely under the weather, against the wee Dundonian Dumpling who showed no mercy to a clearly injured opponent. Meanwhile James was suffering the after effects of a rather leisurely holiday into the Moroccan desert. He needed more water, more shots, more legs and less sun. A brain would also be helpful. John was in complete control, until he listened to the Dumpling's advice after game 2. Moral of the story, fit young folk should never take advice from a plumped up pudding well past it's sell by date. The best match was at 1st string, at least for the opening two sets, after which Ian ran out of legs. Yes, a pleasant evening against a pleasant bunch of chaps. |
