| Report: | The return of the Dundonian Dumpling gave us our first win of the season. Oh and didn't he just tell us all about it in the bar! The Human Wardrobe as our illustrious skipper will have to lay down the law to this tight fisted jock with a gammy leg and severe knee brace. Having two of them in the same team is something that will have to be looked a,t at renomination time. Meanwhile Ping Pong Pescod scored his first win of the season against an out of form Joe, who gave the tin on court one a severe testing. Kim was as poker faced on court as he was in the bar ( half of lemonade please) while Peter, after winning the first set convincingly, then listened to his skipper Joe - bad mistake - and then promptly went down 3 - 1. Eric who moves as sprightly as a 3 legged tortoise these days, was akin to Larry the Lamb, and was duly slaughtered by even older pensioner, who was not troubled for his bus pass. Nevertheless the Warlingham Woefuls came out on top with a win and Bourne gave us the biggest bar bill of the season so far. Big mistake guys. Our last match of the season is away at your place and none of us are driving - make sure you all go to the cash point first. Good match and a good bunch of guys - look forward to drinking them out of beer on the return. |
