| Report: | We chose the wrong night to field our strongest team, playing the boys from Collet who are top of the table. In the previous fixture we fielded a much weaker side and yet we managed to win at least one match. This time it was like Barca vs United. Unfortunately, it was the united side led by LVG, who didnt have a clue how to win
That said, the match was played with good abusive chat going on from the balcony which is always a good sign
In the match of Youth vs experience, experience overcame youth. Very much remicient to the first game fergies fledglings had vs villa when Hansen said his famous quote
I played Andy, and the scoreline flatters me. 2 nicks on game points saw me leading 2-1. But frankly I was on a par with Djemba Djemba.
I didn't see much of Chumba's ame. But I heard it. And I saw the dents in the wall. Looks like it could have gone either way at 16-14 twice - but maybe Tom just liked listenin to Clarkies dulcet tones
Contencious match decision of the evening was in The Owls match - they had a real back and frth game. However, as Tofiq Bahramov did. I awarded the penultimate point above the line. Much like that day in Wembley, I wasn't alone in thinking it was good. But Jonboy was definitely in the "Hans Tilkowski" camp.
Looked like Camberwell gave Billy more of a match than I did last time - but he's alright is that kid - aparently another close game
