| Report: | The evening kicked off with a ex-NM 3rd team member playing against Bamber. I didn't see much of it, as I was marking, but I hear there were significant pauses between games. Gav's always been Jons favourite, so not sure how he lost.
I marked Leon vs Da Kid, which was a really close game, played with great spirit and effort, and it could of gone either way. I've not seen Da Kid play that well for ages (apart from the bit when he served out on game 3 to give Leoon the game)
I don't think Charlie had played Clarkie before, and may not have been expecting the chihuahuas and stamping. She'll know for next time, so Clarkie may have to get a few Sheeshs out.
Jon continued his good run of form by beating Damian. I didn't see much of it, but what I saw it looked closer than the scoreline suggests
And at the end I played Mark, who deservedly beat me 3-1 - again in a tight, clean, close game.
Really enjoyable match with great bunch of guys and gal(and no, we don't want Gav back thanks) - see you at your gaff |
