NEW RANKING SYSTEM

As some of you will know, we have been looking at the idea of having a ranking system based upon the Surrey Leagues. Ranking systems are used in many sports, including Squash, and give each player a 'level' or 'rank' based upon the results of matches they have played and importantly, takes into account the relative strength of the players involved.
In this way, every player obtains a level after their first match and it should not take long for a regular player to obtain an accurate level in relation to other players, thus producing a ranking list.
The Squash Levels system we are using has a link to a Surrey home page and we hope you will go and have a look. There are many options for how you display or filter the palyers and it also includes rankings for the professional players as well.
