| Report: | A bit of a bashing for us from a far stronger Bourne side in our final match of the season. A good win for Maims though, who is probably a contender for club player of the week with the two wins he's had. Well done Mark. Thoroughly enjoyed playing in 5B this season, many old faces from previous seasons on show, plus some new ones too. As regards Bourne's win, they need only a few games to win the league at New Malden, but Mark's win maybe gives NM a small flicker of hope. Also must say well done to Katie, who's played her first ever season of Surrey Cup squash at only 13, showed excellent discipline despite playing at a difficult level for her. Hopefully she did OK with her Chemistry homework on Tuesday, but that may be questionable as Anthony was probably lousy at Science at school???
Finally would like to congratulate the Purley 5th team for their excellent win over Varsity on Monday, which was much needed in their battle to beat the drop. Varsity are top, and the old codgers Shane and Terry both fielded great comebacks to secure a Purley win.
