| Report: | A match that was rather blighted by injuries, with both players in the 3rd string match hurt, but Chris being the one to call halt at 1-1; my own match at 5 was brought to an unfortunate and early end after a couple of rallies when I was caught by a ball in the eye and was unable to continue. No lasting damage, but a frustating conclusion to what was otherwise an enjoyable match played in a good spirit with some joking about our "jonah" court 1. |
