| Report: | The Oxshott number 3 player could only play at the earlier time of 2pm. Our number 3 player was Joe Scott Brown but he was coming back from Devon but could only get back for 3pm. The only Bourne player avaialble to play at 2pm was our number 1 Jemima. So to make sure there player got a game Callum played Jemima. Unfortunately Jemima fell heavily into the wall in the fifth game and had to retire injured so Callum won 3-2. As Jemima played at number 3 string so Tom Mckinlay moved to number 1 string. Unfortunately when Joe Scott Brown arrived for his match at number 2 string they did not have a number 2 player (which we found out later)so he had a walkover. The whole match was agreed by both managers before hand to be a double-header (ie the result will count for the away fixture as well) |
