| Report: | Great match played in great spirit. Couldn't find any reason to use the code of conduct rule.
Steve in his second match of the afternoon showed he is back to full fitness with what was a comfortable win. Mark (good to see you back), had a struggle to record a win - I missed this one but it looked like it was an epic!! A comment on my game later. Ken having to play on court C because Dorking 2 were still playing on A & B recorded a good win against a well supported Chris. Simon played well considering his recent form. I went racing into a 2-0 lead against Paul looking to comfortably take it 3-0, but Paul had other ideas, he managed to find some extra speed and movement around the court which left me totally shell-shocked taking the next 3 games. It was only later that I found out he was a former (maybe current) athlete which definitely became apparent as the game went on!!! As I said all the games were played in great spirit and I expect the return to be a closer affair. Thanks New Malden. |
