Away Report: | There were no hi karamba's or sheesh kebabs from Mr.clarke as James blew the big man away. After a close first game, James got wise to the stamping and bluster. One hopes he hasn't been too affected and it starts to come into his game
The hammer played out of his skin to beat Mark I'm still not smoking herne. I marked the game since the home team couldn't provide a marker, and yet even with my poor decision making, and calling a stroke against Mark on game point, the only time the hammer was under real pressure was when Dan took over the marking and started doing it properly
I played Jonny, and having been schooled in the first game, I put up a decent defence in the 2nd. Only for it to be cruelly taken away from me in the 3rd when I tore my calf muscle. After manfully carrying on for the remainder of the match, it was clear than my mincing around court was not going to be enough to win.. For those of you concerned I have reliably been informed by the doctor that my leg may recover and I should avoid amputation
Dan obviously had somewhere to go. Or it may have been that Bamber looked like a tramp, and Dan was trying to get him off court quickly so that he didn't lower the tone of the club. Either way it was another tough game for Bamber who I'm sure will bounce back next week |
