| Report: | We were a bit concerned when SSP turned upo with a fit bunch of youngsters, bar one. At fifth string Mark was being made to look a proper Charlie, while at 4 Hamish took on the wee canny Peter - perhaps not so wee, given Peter's impressive girth. A good close sporting match despite the 3 zip score. Rob and John were too strong at 1 and 2, while the best match by far was Will and David in a close 5 setter. Will doing what he does best by boring the oppo stupid, leaving David first to the bar and drowning his sorrows. A good evening all round against a likeable bunch of guys. Look forward to the return. |
