| Report: | Well another interesting night of squash at Warlingham. At 1st string Rob was too strong for Ollie, and at second string John was too young for Peter. Nick went down to Mark at 5 after a 4 set tussle, and Will was too much of a squash playerr for Callum at 3, although Callum's squash levels ranking needs adjusting up at least 600 points despite the score. He is undoubtably a ringer.
Match of the night was Hamish v Juan at 4th string. Juan was his usaul consistant self down the backhand wall, while Hamish veered from useless to utter crap, and back again. Nevertheless and despite being down throughout the whole 5th set, he managed to win the last four points to take the match 11 - 9 in the fifth. How, is anyone's guess..... and presumably it will be on a Question of Sport in years to come...........
A good nights squash, against a good bunch of guys. We look forward to the return. |
